Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the IdeaKeeper service (the "Service").

2. Service Description

IdeaKeeper is a web-based service for systematically managing ideas. All data is protected with End-to-End Encryption (E2EE), and the server stores only encrypted data.

3. Encryption & Security

The service employs a Zero-Knowledge architecture and cannot access users' encryption passwords or idea content. In case of password loss, data cannot be recovered without a Recovery Key, and the user is responsible for safekeeping.

4. User Responsibilities

Users must securely store their encryption password and Recovery Key, and must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Limitation of Liability

Due to the Zero-Knowledge architecture, the service cannot view or recover user data. The service is not liable for data loss resulting from lost passwords or Recovery Keys.
